Reference in Contemporary Catalan cuisine
OFFERING: For more than 20 years Windsor has acted as an ambassador for Catalan cuisine. Traditional and seasonal dishes prepared by chefs Carlos Alconchel and David Rodríguez, who together with restaurant director Joan Junyent have created something genuinely unique. A varied menu that includes rice, fish and shellfish direct from the fish markets, with the focus on seasonal produce, such as the Llavaneres green peas, the morel mushrooms, the El Prat de Llobregat faba beans, the game, the truffle. Tapas and half portions can be ordered.
HIGHLIGHT: The various tasting menus including a midday option and a range of evening menus and menus for groups, all can be accompanied by wine pairing.
INTERIOR: The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a modernisme style building in the city’s Eixample neighbourhood. The entrance leads to a cocktail bar with a series of rooms, some facing the street and others looking over the light flooded interior courtyard.
RECOMMENDED: Discovering or returning to one of Barcelona’s most trail blazing restaurants with one of the most beautiful interiors.
