  This philosophy is noticeable immediately inside the door of their shops, as much as for the design of the clothing as the shop interiors that feature the best quality materials. The décor was created by the mother of the two Buxó brothers who came up with the idea for the brand which is a 100% Catalan family business. Kiko looks after sales and advertising while Pep looks after the design and the production of the clothing. Which all translates into urban clothing collections with a definite Mediterranean character, simple colours and cuts using sustainable organic fabrics. As the brothers point out, the designs of the garments respond to a basic need.

  The men’s collection follows a minimalist approach, the less is more philosophy. So the brand includes a permanent design that is renewed using different colours or new details, such as this season’s fuller v-neck in polo-shirts. All based on the idea that luxury is really all about simplicity and the quality of materials: cotton, silk and cashmere wool with Loro Piana yarn. The stand-out piece is a knitted shirt that clients buy season after season.

  The women’s collection is more variable, with new designs each season. And yet the main thing about the clothes is that they are timeless meaning that they can be worn by different generations of women.

  In both cases the collections are accessorised with brands that share the same approach, like Vans and their sports shoes or the baskets made using canvas and leather. Best of all is the price which is fair and affordable. There’s also a charitable aspect with a promise that all unsold items are donated to an NGO: Friends of Rimkieta Foundation, located in Burkina Faso, which helps marginalized African women by the mere fact of being widowed. Because a relaxed approach to living and dressing doesn’t mean forgetting others.
