Puma x Daily Paper

23.02.17

Puma has recently teamed up with Daily Paper, a Dutch streetwear brand, in a Sping/ Summer 2017 collection.

Since 2010 Daily Paper has been a keen player on the streetwear landscape. Inspired by the creative roots of its African origins this popular label has over the years become much sought after. Paying particular attention to high quality materials and fabrics Daily Paper's unique and eclectic character comes from its combination of its cultural references and uber trendy designs.

Combining all these aspects they’ve joined forces with Puma lending their prints and subtle details to a collaboration with the iconic French label. Puma’s designs are reinvented using subtle details like the short clean cut lines, colour-blocking and printed drawings that reference the Maasai tribes of the African continent, specifically to their long history as cricket players.

Daily Paper reinvents the Puma shoe with three different versions: one with Velcro strips, another with the classic Puma shape in a splatter-paint effect and another with a translucent-coloured sole; all of which are made with leather.

Daily Paper has reinvented another model called the Court Platform, which is a platform type sole, using a point and leather base in the instep. This striking collaboration is all part of their new collection of matching sweatshirts, polo shirts, shorts and parka jackets.
