Espadrilles for spring
After implementing its first tentative seeds of change with Spread the Seed the winter collection Paez are now getting inspired by the colour, energy and positivity of the spring. Principles that have been applied to the re-imagined classic patterns of this Argentinean brand originally founded more than a decade ago that makes printed cotton textile espadrilles with EVA rubber soles and leather instep, with this innovative new season collection.
The collection, which coincides with the opening of three new stores in the city and the launching of the capsule edition made in collaboration with renowned local designer Mariscal, is made up of several silhouettes: from the sporty Pulse with its light jacquard fabric to the Bio anatomical sandal with its unusual cork sole, Original Raw with jute soles, the stone-washed Lite with hand sewn soles, and Field, a fusion between sneaker and sandal with a vulcanized rubber sole.

The aim of Paez is to make “simple products, that are comfortable and accessible in terms of fun and inspirational experiences” and the idea is to build on their entrepreneurial spirit for the good of the entire community. It’s no surprise then that the company has been awarded B Corp certification that recognises their achievements in social responsibility, sustainability and business transparency.
