Denim with a proper name

G-Star Raw is a brand constantly updating itself but never forgetting their classics, as irresistible as ever. A good example of this perfect tandem between innovation and tradition is perfectly reflected in the autumn-winter collection 2013 of the firm. Luxury jeans for a demanding and cosmopolitan client: this could be the premises of a firm specializing in denim that advocates to maintain the originality of the fabric, to keep them untreated, to provide, as they themselves say "just the product". The autumn-winter collections of different lines are a perfect summary of the history of the company and its understanding of fashion and, especially, of jeans.

Pure innovation comes to G-Star through the new Type C with 3D construction. This model, designed as a prototype for the 2010 NYC Fashion Week, is now available in stores worldwide. A very free hearted and casual design it is the latest 3D denim line, extremely low–cut and with very elongated back pockets.

    As we are already talking about novelties, we wonder if a sea breeze has filled the minds of the designers in charge of a new line, the Davin, with sailor inspired aesthetics. The design highlights the back pockets, large size, and the front ones, lengthen over the thighs. The collection has a different approach for men and women. For men, jeans, low rise, sticks to the body offering a contemporary design. For women, well tight, the jeans have a fine line providing elegance. A side seam crosses the legs to the leg look slimmer. Davin's collection brings a seasonal line inspired by the "denim on denim", carefree, and fresh.

    The Midnight Collection is the final touch on an autumn full of good intentions. The denim becomes the perfect complement to eveningwear securing the unique aspect about G-Star RAW. The details make the difference both in the female line, with a masculine style dotted with lace, as in the male line, inspired by the naval uniform and full of authenticity.
