  The Downtown Collection presented by Selim de Somavilla was one of the few unisex collections seen at this edition. A mix of classic fabrics like wool, silk and leather, together with more technology and artificial fabrics. Pattern plays an important role in the collection, strong tones using rhomboid-shapes and herring bone pattern lend a classic 70s feel to this collection.

  The trio formed by Ángel Vilda, Cesar Olivares and Veronica Raposo, which together form the Brain & Beast label, surprised everyone with their Romantik  collection, an unapologetic ode to past, present and future loves and the world of feelings and emotions that goes beyond the mere earthly. Decontextualized and deconstructed pieces with bright tones, make for a collection full of details that range from embroidered edges, prints and complex forms to a striking use of makeup which lent a mysticism to the catwalk.

  M.G are the initials and main inspiration behind Cruzcastillo, here presenting his most personal collection to date. M.G stands for both Manuel Gomez and his father, his collection is inspired by separation and reunion. The clothes revolve around the wardrobe that his father used to wear using fabrics such as wool and cotton which bring a modern touch through the use of prints, characteristic of this firm and its strong point.

  Martinez Lierah brought us on a journey through outer space, part hallucination and part mysterious illumination. A limited palette of colours ,electric blues, ochre and futuristic metallic tones combined with impossible tailoring, extra long zippers and impecable silhouettes defined a powerful catwalk show. The shoes were also worthy of a mention (which we’ve become accustomed to) methacrylate platforms and extravagant froms.

  Dreamlike, Natalie Capell presented her most romantic and feminine collection. Long capes embroidered by hand, almost floating fabrics with very pale blue tones made their way down the catwalk which was inundated with an aura of calm and nostalgia.

  Maite Albéniz, for her second edition at 080 (using the name Cavaliere) introduced us to a 19^th C a dandy, bold forms full of rock! Featuring a languid and clean silhouette, quality fabrics combined with exotic Yak leather in huge overcoats. Black, white and red were the only colours used for this collection, evoking the city bourgeoisie, urban feeling and with a touch of ‘fey’ rocker at heart and in spirit.
