Volta Restaurant & Bar boasts one of the most beautiful terraces in Barcelona, accommodated underneath the stone colonnade of the Paseo Picasso. Volta belongs to the recently opened Borneta hotel located directly in front of the Ciutadella park with views over its gorgeous and beautifully restored Hibernaclum and Palm House. The restaurant and bar occupy the hotel lobby area which is illuminated during the day by an enormous skylight over the bar area. This lively space is filled with potted plants and greenery, a place of encounter between locals and visitors. The food offering is based on Km 0 produce and sustainable cuisine packed with local flavour that reflects Barcelona’s rich Mediterranean culture. Most of the suppliers are small producers who follow traditional ecological methods, selected by the Volta team.
