The terrace is open to the general public from noon till midnight midweek and later (2 AM or 3 AM depending on how busy it is) at the weekends. This rooftop world of satellite dishes, clothes lines (which inspires the name) and chimneys contrasts with the crowded streets and provides an oasis of calm above the clamouring tourist world below during the summer months.
