Mercer Hotel Barcelona

By Brian Gallagher 07.06.13

The roof top terrace is part of the elaborate refurbishment of this building, parts of which date from the fortifications of the Roman city Barcino. The terrace is organised over different levels and is equipped with a plunge pool, cocktail bar, terrace furniture and exceptional views over the barrio gótico. Perhaps Spain’s most respected living architect Raphael Moneo’s project is a combination of contemporary comfort and relics of practically all the architectural styles that have flourished in the city since Roman times. Intimate and very stylish terrace. Opening hours to the general public; from 8 PM - 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, after June 15th everyday.

  • Views of San Justo y Pastor as well as the city's cathedral
