The Mediterranean on The ROOF

Barcelona Edition

08.04.25

Located on the tenth floor of The Barcelona EDITION, The ROOF is reinventing itself for the spring-summer season with a combination of signature cocktails and a totally new food menu. The new dishes served exclusively on The Roof are inspired by the Mediterranean with fresh seasonal produce, in a colourful presentation, packed with flavours. The setting is unique in Barcelona with unequalled views over the rooftops of El Born and beyond towards the Mediterranean. The ROOF also includes indoor seating within a stylish and intimate interior design as well as the exterior terrace.

The highlights of the new Mediterranean menu include favourites such as Creamy Iberian ham croquettes with Ventresca (tuna belly), a selection of cheeses, smooth Chickpea hummus with fresh crudités, and vegetarian options like the crispy vegan eggplant Milanese with citrus emulsion and pistachio dukkah. Sea food is represented by Marinated sardines with carrot and orange escabeche and octopus served with paprika and potato aioli, while the Mercat de Santa Caterina skirt steak, made with herb oil, showcases local produce inspired by the culinary heart of El Born. Among the dessert options are the traditional tocinillo de cielo with thyme and lemon Chantilly cream, the ice cream sandwich with a chocolate-covered biscuit, or the seasonal raw fruit, presented with a delicate natural sorbet.
