Taste-It 2024

Street food, workshops, music & theatre

24.05.24

The 'Taste-It' festival returns once more this spring, celebrating Italian gastronomy and Italianness with street food, workshops, music and theatre. Located within the Grimaldi Terminal, in the Port of Barcelona, the venue will be organised to host different activities spread throughout the space, as well as in tents and tasting areas with covered tables and chairs to enjoy the varied restaurant offering

Taste-It, sponsored by the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona with the support of the Italian Consulate in Barcelona, continues to focus, in its sixth edition, on bringing the tradition of regional Italian recipes to lovers of Italian gastronomy from a focus on authenticity, origin and pedagogy. The star ingredient continues to be Italian gastronomy, as well as providing greater visibility to other cultural expressions made in Italy such as music and theatre.

Admission is free and it takes place on May 25th, from noon to one in the morning. The gastronomy is represented by 14 restaurateurs which will offer regional recipes, dishes never seen before in the city and a sample of popular Italian food trends, all in a playful street food format. There will be no shortage of pasta, pizza, fried foods, piadinas and much less artisanal ice cream or typical sweets. In a single day, visitors will be able to enjoy more than 20 savoury and sweet dishes that represent the authentic flavours of practically all of the 20 regions that make up Italy.
