Inspired by the offer of one of its flagship restaurants, Bar Lobo —which has been around for almost two decades and is a classic in Barcelona where you can eat tapas and simple, delicious dishes at any time of day in a relaxed ambience—, Grupo Tragaluz has just opened a new establishment in one of the liveliest areas of the city at the moment, just steps from Port Vell and Paseo de Colón, in the Born neighbourhood. A picturesque area that has been restored to its former character, once full of bazaars, appliance shops, bars and neighbourhood bodegas with a harbour atmosphere. This is the spirit that Tapas Lobito has recovered.
Located on the ground floor of a historic corner building, the space is spacious, bright, with large windows and doors opening onto the street, inviting you to sit down for a drink and a bite to eat, in a relaxed atmosphere where locals and foreigners share a table.

The gastronomic offer consists of Tapas to share, sushi bar, natural wines and sangrias. A wide and varied menu of tapas and dishes prepared with fresh, quality products. Everything done like at home, but well done.

We recommend a Zurito of cold gazpacho, Gildas, Croquetas de jamón ibérico, the infallible Pincho de tortilla and Calamares a la andaluza or the Tataki of tuna with guacamole. If you feel like eating more, there are hearty dishes such as the Smash burger, the Roast beef toast with mushroom or Roquefort sauce, or a variety of sushi. And for dessert, the Lobo cheesecake, the fine apple tart with cinnamon ice cream or the Torrija with dulce de leche ice cream. But don't forget to ask the manager, Roberta, for the suggestions of the day!

Tapas Lobito is open every day, with non-stop cooking from 12 noon to midnight. On weekends, music and cocktails until 1.30am. Average price a la carte, 25-30 Eur.
