First edition of Hotel BreakFest: late breakfasts and meriendas at five-star hotels
Until 26 March, five hotels in Barcelona are bringing back gastronomic breaks.
The first break celebrated by this festival is the mid-morning snack, whilst the second reclaims the afternoon merienda. For one week, hosts Neri (a Restaurant), Grand Hotel Central (Can Bo), Serras (Informal), The One (Mood Rooftop Bar) and Sir Victor (The Rooftop) will invite both guests and locals to savor these two moments at a relaxed pace.
Over the course of a week, these two moments will invite both guests and the local public to savour the moment at their leisure, hosted by Neri (at a Restaurant), Grand Hotel Central (Can Bo), Serras (Informal), The One (Mood Rooftop Bar) and Sir Victor (The Rooftop).

Each features a full menu and three individual dishes, made with Balfegó Bluefin tuna, La Fageda Greek yoghurt and Nocilla hazelnut and cocoa spread, adapted for the world of haute cuisine in hotels, which has explored new ways of using these ingredients, and they are in the running for the Alimentaria + Hostelco award for Best Product Integration, which recognises creativity, consistency and the way the ingredient is showcased on the plate.

They are savoury and sweet bites —toast, bowls, pancakes, eggs Benedict, brioches or flatbreads— served with alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, and a Mimosa cocktail, either in its classic form with cava and orange juice or reimagined by the establishment.
