During the second week of June Barcelona showcased the Portugal Experience. A week filled with events and activities that feature the attractions of Spain’s nearest neighbour organised by the Portuguese Consulate in Barcelona with the support of the Instituto Camões y de Turismo de Portugal, and which also included the rich gastronomic offerings of its cuisine

A special tasting menu highlighting Portuguese dishes was put together and served in the well known Barcelona restaurant – Nuba, whose kitchen is directed by Billy Baroja, togetjer with two Portuguese chefs; Vitor Manuel Silva Loureiro, from the Escola de Hoteleria e Turismo de Douro located in  Lamego and António Henriques, from the Escola de Hoteleria e Turismo de Lisboa.

The proposal specifically featured contemporary Portuguese Cuisine within a specially created offering for the Portugal Experience week.

The price for the mid-day menu was 30 € while the evening menu cost 60€ both of which included Portuguese wines.

A unique oportunity to enjoy the rich gastronomic culture of Portugal without leaving Barcelona!
