SOLC + El Bar, Majestic Hotel & Spa
The annual Passeig de Gràcia gastronomic festival, which this year brings together 21 restaurants all located along Barcelona’s premier avenue, appeals to both locals and visitors. The Majestic Hotel & Spa is participating with two different culinary offerings that feature a selection of dishes, signature creations, innovative pastry and an exclusive gourmet menu that also marks a new chapter in the hotel’s gastronomic evolution now under the leadership of executive chef David Romero.
Since its inception in 2018, Passeig de Gourmets has been dedicated to showcasing the culinary talent of Passeig de Gràcia, bringing together hotels, restaurants, and gastronomic spaces in a collective celebration of cuisine. After nine editions in eight years, the festival continues to grow in participation and relevance.

At SOLC (available for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday) Majestic presents a tasting menu with cava pairing inspired by seasonal produce and Catalan recipes with a contemporary twist. The menu begins with a Duck croquette and flatbread with cured mackerel with green pepper piperade, followed by cream of calçot (spring onion) with cod flakes and romesco crumbs. The menu continues with Hake confit served with green bean pil-pil sauce and a rich veal fricandó with parsnip and mushroom parmentier. For a sweet finish, there's a baba with ratafia and walnut ice cream.

El Bar within the Majestic Hotel lobby (between 12 noon and 11 PM) is presenting three dishes designed for a more informal alternative, all however with the ‘Majestic’ seal of approval. The "Tapas Route" features a King prawn royal with spinach and Parisian mushrooms. The "Signature Sandwich" reimages a classic dish, a Rossini sandwich with beef, foie gras, escarole, and truffle oil. And for dessert, the "Creative Pastry" section offers a cheesecake made with Serrat d'Ovella cheese, highlighting the quality of the ingredients and a well-defined preparation.
