Passeig de Gourmets

06.03.18

Passeig de Gourmets is the first gastronomic festival centred entirely around Passeig de Gràcia. For ten days, between March 8 and 18, the avenue and adjacent streets will offer different proposals from the 20 most outstanding restaurants in the area.

The festival revolves around four activities: the route of dishes, 12 varied dishes for only 7 Eur .. The tasting menus, including several different proposals ranging between 40 and 50 Eur.; the Cocina a cuatro manos (four hand cuisine), one-of gastronomic evenings thanks to the coupling of Michelin star chefs who will offer their combined talent and experience for one night only; and the Showcookings, all free of charge, from the hands of some of Barcelona's best-known chefs and influencers. All activities can be enjoyed with Estrella Damm beer, Familia Torres wines and Gramona cava.

Amongst some of the most outstanding highlight of the Passeig de Gourmets programme, is three emblematic restaurants: Mordisco and Skylight, in the Passatge de la Concepció, and Roca Bar, in the lobby of the Omm Hotel. In a radius of barely 250 meters and with Paseo de Gracia as the main axis, the different proposals of Grupo Tragaluz are unique and current.

Creating their own route (without any need to make a reservation) the participants can try the exceptionally crunchy calamari sandwich at Roca Bar and the Buthan potatoes at Mordisco, a staple for cheese lovers.

Alternatively Tragaluz offers a tasting menu that showcases its gastronomy that features locally sourced Mediterranean products. A selection of dishes, which are both light and ideal for sharing, that vary depending on the day, the perfect excuse for anyone who hasn’t been here to try it out for the first time or go back again. With a warm, relaxed and comfortable interior décor Tragaluz is like eating outdoors with its glass rooflight (Tragaluz means rooflight) that covers the main dining area with natural light during the day or a canopy of stars at night.
