Paella goes pasta!
Thursdays at Il Giardinetto
The renowned Italian restaurant has taken on board the traditional Thursday paella, substituting the rice for another key ingredient to which it owes its reputation for excellence on Barcelona's culinary scene, namely its homemade pasta.
Specifically fettuccine paella served with prawns, mussels, butifarra, chicken, artichokes, mange-tout and tomato. Included within the lunch menu offering, accompanied by an equally appetizing green salad with goat’s cheese. With dessert, bread, water and coffee, €17 at the bar, €21 at the tables.
Il Giardinetto, first opened in 1973, is a modern classic where standards have been maintained with respect to the quality of the food, service, and its imaginative proposals. Not only edible, the display window located to the left of the entrance features monthly interesting surprises: installations created by invited artists inspired by Il Giardinetto. The next one (June) will be designed by product designer Curro Claret.
