NUBAR is the latest culinary attraction to open on Passeig de Gràcia, a restaurant and cocktail bar with street terrace at the very centre of Barcelona’s most spectacular and emblematic avenue (entre las calles Valencia y Aragón). Part underground and partly on the street the beautifully designed interior by Estrella Salietti, with her unmistakable stamp, is located within the Boulevard Rosa shopping centre, currently being redeveloped. Open daily, except on Sundays the uninterrupted kitchen service covers everything from lunch to the wee small hours of the evening, serving cocktails and drinks till 3 am at the weekend and midnight during the week with a live Dj. 

Part of the Costa Este group the food offering at Nubar can be characterized by its varied selection of dishes, inspired by market fresh cuisine, with a great emphasis on the quality of the product. Chef Josemi Manzanal has come up with a menu that features traditional Mediterranean dishes with a contemporary flourish, created for sharing which is a speciality of the Costa Este group. And the recently added new sushi offers a completely different variety of flavours that are great at any time of the day or night.

    Some of the highlights on the menu include appetizers such as oysters, foie micuit with strawberries, lobster salad or tiger prawns with lamb's lettuce and avocado. And for the second course the selection of rice and Mediterranean fish, the pappardelle with Angus bolognese, the ravioli with mushrooms and foie gras sauce, the steak tartare and the tagliata chuletón d.o. Galicia, among others. The sushi menu features a delicious variety of osomakis, uramakis, niguiris and bluefin tuna sashimi, butter fish, lemon fish, salmon and octopus, as well as tataki, different types of tartare and oriental salads. And last but not least Nubar also offers a selection of homemade desserts created for diners with a sweet tooth.
