Nora BCN is a gastronomic restaurant and nightclub situated just off Av. Diagonal in the uptown neighbourhood of Barcelona. Already a favourite place to do business for all the surrounding offices Nora BCN is however an excellent place to savour Mediterranean cuisine based on seasonal ingredients with a regularly updated menu. Chef Llorenç Valls Tapia is known for his modern and sensitive style, his creativity is evident in the dishes, creativity without eccentricity. Traditional choices as well as others with a more international and playful approach. His training as a chef includes a list of some of the best restaurants in Barcelona, Hotel Neri and One Ocean among others.
The restaurant interior is beautifully decorated with a variety of spaces; a terrace that overlooks the residential gardens of c/ Dr. Ibañez, the very elegant main dining area as well as smaller spaces suitable for groups. The décor features comfortable seating and quality materials including wood, marble and luxurious textiles. One wall is entirely occupied with the wine storage, the menu includes classic wines and some surprising to be discovered, the sommelier at Nora BCN will be more than happy to recommend a suitable option to accompany a special occasion or a business lunch. As well as the restaurant Nora BCN is also a club, a ‘bôite’ with a state-of-the-art sound system and a room sized high definition screen. Nora is located where the renowned Laurel & Hardy club used to be, an iconic Barcelona club during the 70s and 80s. The club can be accessed through the restaurant but it also has its own separate street entrance.
