Gallina de Piel + Lluc Crusellas
David Seijas, ex-sommelier at elBulli and co-founder of Gallina de Piel Wines, and Lluc Crusellas, recent winner of the last edition of the World Chocolate Master, have come together once again this year with #NoMona; A combination of art, chocolate and viticulture. The beautiful presentation features a copper-coloured chocolate egg containing a protruding sweet dessert wine.
“Together with Lluc we wanted to take a minimalist approach with a chocolate egg that would symbolise this “copper-coloured pot” over a fire where the wine is held in place, that’s the reason why the “vi bullit” comes out of the egg. We worked with the idea of creating chocolate for the egg with the right balance between sweet and bitter and with citrus notes that reference to the aromatic palette of the wine”, says David Seijas. Lluc Crusellas used milk chocolate with a citrus note of lime for the egg.
