Nit de Mercats

Gastronomy, music and photography in 3 BCN markets

12.05.17

A week before the La Nit dels Museus takes place the first edition of a new initiative Nit de Mercats will be taking palce. On Saturday the 13th of May between 8 P.M. and midnight the three markets; Mercat del Ninot, the Mercat de Sagrada Família and the Mercat de Santa Caterina will become exhibitions spaces within the International Markets week with the renowned chef Carles Abellan acting as patron.

During the evening the delicatessens, butchers, fish shops and fruit vendors of these three important food markets will be keeping their doors open not only for regular shopping but will also be serving tapas and other freshly prepared dishes perfect for sharing using prime quality ingredients, as one would expect from the markets themselves.
