Muy Mío Plaza
Located in a quiet residential square between the Sarrià and Gràcia neighbourhoods (Plaza Cardona n.4) Muy Mío Plaza is a new restaurant with an impressive terrace which can seat almost as many diners as inside. The gastronomic offering is primarily based on shared dishes which are denominated as ‘social dishes’ here, like the ‘secret recipe’ Baked Croquettes or the Duck Confit Terrine served with Applesauce and fresh Figs, the Rice Broth with Squid cooked ‘Rostit’ style, the Galician Clams served with Chilli, Garlic, Parsley and Vermouth, the Marinated Steal Tartare or the impressive ‘Forest and Poultry’ Fondue as well as Artisan Cheese Board and Cold Meats, Scrambled Eggs with Foie and Iberian Ham etc, etc. The focus is on healthy and tasty ingredients with an unusual creative input, the shared dishes are presented like still-life sculptures in a visually imaginative way which are guaranteed to become a talking point.
Main courses include Norwegian Cod Fillet served with Idiazábal Cream and Pedro Ximenez (sherry) reduction, Suckling Pig roasted in its own juices over a low temperature, the Grilled Nebraska Angus Sirloin, Grilled Wild Salmon, Wasabi Purée and Carrot Bread.

Muy Mío is owned by a group which brings together a bakery and two restaurants, the other is nearby at Santaló 11, so the desserts are bound to be good. As well as the home made Carrot Cake the Cheese Cake, Brownies and Chocolate Fudge Cake are worth investigating.

Muy Mío Pizza, house speciality
On weekdays Muy Mio Plaza offers a Tríos de Mediodía (Midday Triple) deal that includes a starter, a main course, one of their delicious homemade desserts as well as a drink, all from €12.95. There is a special weekend brunch as well as an in-house Dj from Thursdays through Saturdays when cocktails and spirits are also served in the evenings.
