Arrosseria Xàtiva Les Corts

This month, October 2017 it’s 15 years since the opening of the first Arrosseria Xàtiva restaurant, located in the Les Corts neighbourhood of Barcelona. When it comes to rice and all the variety of dishes that have been inspired by this globally appreciated food the Ribera family who have more than 25 years experience managing restaurants are the experts.

The story began with María Antonia Ribera who armed with the family recipes of her husband’s family passed down over the generations opened her first restaurant specialising in rice dishes. Over the years the group has expanded to include four restaurants, all specialising in this most versatile of foodstuffs; L’Arrosseria Xátiva de Les Corts and L’Arrosseria de Gracia, La Tertulia de Les Corts and the Club Gastronómico Comunitat Trenta Tres. All of them situated within the Les Corts or Gràcia neighbourhoods in close proximity to one another. Nowadays Maria Antonia’s son Alejandro López is at the helm of the Grup Xàtiva project.

    The Grup Xàtiva has since the beginning specialised in an ecological approach to cooking, where healthly ingredients and provenance are first and foremost. The rice dishes are made with sea water one of the group's exclusive stamps. In addition, the cards of all its establishments offer different options for people with all kinds of intolerances.

    Arrosseria Xàtiva Les Corts is just about to expand into an adjacent new space which will be opened at the end of October or beginning of November to mark its 15th anniversary.
