Gourmet pizzettas arrive in Barcelona
La Sedici presents a unique take away option in Gràcia specialising in pizzettas, a combination of urban rhythm and gastronomic tradition. Delivering gourmet 16 cm diam. pizzas around the city. Specializing in mini pizzas 16 cm in diameter, also known as the pizzetta, the restaurant is exactly what the name stands for, the Italian word for sixteen is 'sedici.' The traditional Pescara take-away dish, made with fresh ingredients from organic crops and other regional produce of the transalpine country, bringing the fast food concept to the slow food movement.
La Sedici was conceived under the watchful expertise of and world-class champion master pizza maker Luciano Passeri who is also the director of the Venetian Accademia Pizzaioli, Passeri. Luciano defines the term pizzetta as a “walking pizza”, creating the perfect dish to fold up, carry and eat on the go.
