By Brian Gallagher 23.07.15

It’s generally recognised that the creative arts feed off each other, the cross pollination of ideas and inspiration have stimulated artists since time immemorial, at La Roca Village this creative concept has been applied to the world of fashion and food. Working with fashion bloggers and local chefs as well as a selection of some of the best Catalan gourmet produce La Roca Village will pay homage to all things culinary all summer long. Renowned celebrity chefs Javier y Sergio Torres together with Art Director Tamu McPherson under the guiding hand of La Roca Village have established a varied programme of artist events and installations including photography and especially created recipes that celebrate all things fashion related.

Until 30 August, visitors to the Village can experience the authentic taste of Catalonia at the Catalonia Gourmet Market, an ephemeral space that will be located within a plaza adjacent to the Lobby Café which is being managed and directed by the Clúster Gourmet de Catalunya. The gourmet market will present a selection of exclusive gastronomic souvenirs of the best gourmet Catalan produce, available for purchase to the thousands of shoppers expected to visit La Roca Village this summer, of which 60% are estimated to be international.
