L'Entrecôte Barcelona
Single option
Sometimes simplicity is best. The culinary offering at L'Entrecôte is stripped down to the basics, a single dish with different garnish options. A cut of meat, salad and fries. It’s all about the quality of the meat, which is imported from France daily. Finely cut sirloin of Simmental beef (170 g net slice of beef), prepared using butcher shop techniques, cut with a knife, piece by piece, nerves and fat removed in the restaurant's own pantry, adjacent to the kitchen. The meat is first grilled and finished in the salamander with a home-made secret sauce.
L'Entrecôte is a bistro-style restaurant opened in Barcelona's Eixample in 2019, the first in Spain however, an established institution in France, with five historic establishments located across different French cities. All with the same concept, that have hardly changed since the opening of the first restaurant in the chain, back in 1962. A concept that has been proven to work, as evidenced by the more than 60 years of life of L'Entrecôte and the queues outside each firm's premises. No reservations are accepted, diners have to turn up in person.

The menu is complemented by a selection of wine (the house Bordeaux is very respectable) and typically French homemade desserts. There are about twenty choices including profiteroles, vacherin chocolate fondant, mousse, mont blanc, cheese board...
