Tartare Thursdays at Acontraluz

Four tartare dishes combined with four gin & tonics, music from DJ Mónica Mira and all for 26 Euros; the special deal on offer over the next few months from this restaurant with its emblematic atrium garden.

The vegetarian tofu tartare option served with Bombay Sapphire gin & tonic with cucumber and Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic water. Salmon tartare combined with Bombay Sapphire, ruby grapefruit and pink pepper Schweppes tonic water. Steak-tartare with Oxley gin and Schweppes tonic with ginger and cardamon. Veal and foie tartare seared on the pan served with G’vine, black grapes and Fever Tree Indian tonic water. The tartare and gin based menu can be enjoyed as a tasting menu or ordering a full serving of one of the tartare and drinks options for the same price.


In addition for followers on social networking sites Acontraluz has prepared a secret menu for 30 Euros made up from dishes featured on the menu available from Monday through Sunday, midday and evening. Sittings which can only be ordered using a password when making the reservation (for January the word is ‘buganvilia’, Acontraluz will release future month’s passwords over Facebook and Twitter).
