A corner of the Garrotxa region to loose oneself in order perhaps to ultimately find oneself. In the words of Agnes Puigdevall, the owner: "This is what it is, nothing more."

 So what is it? Well for starters a country house located in the Vall d'en Bas, within the surrounding volcanic landscape, which offers bed & breakfast offering Km 0 produce: organic eggs, homemade jams, home baked bread made at a nearby organic bakery (La Fogaina) cold meats sourced from Olot. Firm beds, door handles made from strings, an open gallery with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and cornfields, swimming pool, picnic tables, a kitchen garden reserved for anyone with green fingers, chick hens pecking around under a leafy fig tree where visitors can find welcome shade and a gin & tonic in the evening within hear shot of the nearby farm animals. A great place for a weekend break this summer or however long you want to enjoy a Sopar d'estrelles Mirant estrelles (outdoor evening meal under the stars) specially recommended for ‘foodies’ interested in astronomy taking place every Friday at 8 pm, up until August 30, at the Tossols-Basil bathing pavilion (Olot, Girona) a structure designed by RCR Arquitectes where the laid back atmosphere is conducive to finding inner calm.  The Les Cols restaurant (2 Michelin stars, headed by Fina Puigdevall) provides the cold-dinner, and the telescopes are supplied by the Garrotxa Astronomical Association. 50€.
