Italian gastrobar Luzio
Recently opened within Luzio, the luxury concept store, and coinciding with its tenth anniversary the gastrobar Iluzione completes the well rounded offering at this Brooklyn style shop. Open Monday to Saturday (from 10:30 a.m. to midnight) Iluzione offers customers a place to enjoy an aperitif, snack, lunch or dinner, as well as browsing the luxury goods while there.
After a year of selecting and preparing Iluzione's menu using the finest ingredients, either 100% Italian or from the best local supplier, Chef Stefano Gallo has created an Italian food offering designed for sharing and prepared freshly. Some of the menu highlights include antipasta's such as burrata or mortdella, the carpaccios such as corvina, the sour dough focaccie. Main dishes include the Parmigiana di melanzane chic (aubergine with parmesan) and not forgetting desserts like the homemade tiramisu. Their bartender Salvatore d'Amico offers a selection of cocktails, lie the Sanguinosa Maria (an Italian Bloody Mary), or L'Winter Arribando (a mixture of bourbon, angostura, orange bitter and sugar all served in a smoked glass). Along with their selection of drinks the freshly pressed coffee, pressed in a manual lever machine, extracts the optimum flavour from the beans.

Accommodated within a 200 sq.m. space that includes a covered right outside, heated during the winter. There are two floors accessed via a wide staircase with restaurant seating and a bar. The division between the eatery and the shop with its furniture and decorative objects is subtly suggested by the lighting and the products on sale, that includes the ceramic dishes designed by the Luzio label to commemorate the store's ten year anniversary and feature tattoo like graphics; every taste is catered to here.
