Gourmet Menu

23.11.12

Consisting of one starter, two options of first course, two options of main course and dessert, including a glass of wine as well as water and coffee. Price; 45 Euros.

Having been awarded a Michelin star the Moo restaurant is amongst the most cutting edge restaurants in the city of Barcelona and is key to understanding contemporary Catalan cuisine. The lunch menu is aimed at a business clientele and other diners looking for quality, prompt service and value for money. With the Roca del Celler brothers acting as consultants the head chef is Felip Llufriu who worked side by side with the renowned brothers for three years after training at Neichel, Jean Luc Figueras and Mugaritz. Time is of the essence at Moo, the midday menu is less extensive than the other tasting options and the accompanying wine selection is reduced to a single glass. It’s possible to choose from between two starters and two mains which are updated every two or three weeks. The more popular lunch dishes are usually later added to the a-la-carte Moo menu or the tasting menu which gives some indication to the quality at stake here.
