Carlos Cases is the head chef for the overall group of restaurants Dos Torres (Dos Torres, La Jacarandea and El Jardi de l’Abedessa restaurants), having worked with the group for 15 years and counting. Accommodated within an evocative period Catalan Modernismo style tower La Jacaranda is located on the ground floor connecting with the exquisitely Jacaranda planted garden that diners must pass through on arrival. The mid-day menú Degustacion La Jacaranda is in reality a culinary laboratory where successful dishes are later transferred to the group’s other restaurants in combination with some of the favourite options from the Dos Torres evening a-la-carte menu and every now and again dishes specially prepared by Carlos. The ambience is domestic and laid back, like being invited to a friend’s house for lunch permeated with the garden’s perfume. Served from 12.30 the lunch menu consists of a set menu however specific client requests for variations can be accommodated.
