Bar Veraz + Pellicer
A new generation of creatives is finding inspiration and strength through partnership, mutual collaboration, and learning. The food scene is no different. And a great example is this lunch menu currently available at Bar Veraz, of The Barcelona EDITION. Renowned Catalan chef Xavier Pellicer teams up with hotel chef Pedro Tassarolo, originally from Argentina. The winter menu features the essentials of Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine, simple dishes ideal for sharing with family and friends, that respect local cooking traditions and highlight the flavours of the freshest possible ingredients from the neighbouring Mercat de Santa Caterina.
A joint effort focuses on organic dishes mostly vegan, seasonal products that puts their quality and proximity at the core. The collaboration will offer from January 19 to April 19 four dishes prepared by the renowned chef that will be added exclusively and eventually to the newly presented Bar Veraz menu.

Pellicer and Tassarolo have jointly worked on four dishes inspired by the 4 elements of biodynamics: air, fire, earth and water; translated to the gastronomic world as root, fruit, leaf and flower. A unique representation of the vegetal and identifying vision of Xavier Pellicer's cuisine.
