Between the 20th and the 23rd of October Barcelona will gather together the best chefs (many with Michelin stars) on the national and international scene for the gastronomic congress which has become a world reference: the Fòrum Gastronòmic. Over four days the Fira de Barcelona will host more than 80 gastronomic conferences, featuring one hundred speakers and the best known brands in the industry converting the city into a genuine culinary focus.
The Fòrum Gastronómic brings together in one place some of the most noteworthy chefs on the international scene. Amongst the many attending re included; Entre otros, estarán presentes chefs de la talla de Carme Ruscalleda (Sant Pau), Joan y Jordi Roca (El Celler de Can Roca), Jordi Cruz (Àbac), Ángel León (Aponiente), Eneko Atxa (Azurmendi), Paco Pérez (Miramar), Nandu Jubany (Can Jubany), los hermanos Sergio y Javier Torres (Dos Cielos), Artur Martínez (Capritx), Víctor Quintillà (Lluerna), Rafa Peña (Gresca), Carles Gaig (Gaig), Jordi Vilà (Alkimia), Hideki Matsuhisa (Koy Shunka), Albert Ventura (Coure), Carlo Cracco (Carlo Cracco Ristorante) , Sacha Hormaechea (Sacha), Diego López (La Molinera), Javier Olleros (Culler de Pau), Iván Domínguez (Alborada) and many more.

Special mention goes to Mexico which is the guest country at this years’ edition featuring nationals chefs such as Jorge Vallejo (Quintonil); José Ramón Castillo (Que bo! Chocolates); Mikel Alonso (Biko); Daniel Ovadia (Paxia); Carmen Ramirez Degollado 'Titita' (El Bajío), Joan Begur (El Bajío and Oaxaca) and Pedro Evia (Kuuk).
Forum Dulce is given greater prominence with the participation of the Colectivo 21 Brix, Josep Maria Rodriguez (La pastisseria), Fernando Sáenz (Heladería Della Sera), Rafael Delgado (Chocovic), Josep M. Ribé (Callebaut), Alejandra Rivas (Rocambolesc) Jordi Roca (El Celler de Can Roca), Ramon Morato (Chocolate Academy), David Gil (Tickets) and Jordi Saavedra (41º Experience), José Ramon Castillo (Que Bo!), Miquel Guarro (Cacao Barry), Enric Rosich (Macarons), Jordi Butron, (Espai Sucre) and Jordi Bordas.
The Fórum Vino is divided into two separate sections, one for tasting organic wine ranges (Joan València) and the other to the most prestigious Priorat wineries (Juan Muñoz, René Barbier, Sara Pérez and Álvaro Palacios).
