El Filete Ruso

12.09.12

Located on one of Barcelona’s most attractive streets, the semi-pedestrianised C. Enric Granados El Filete Ruso presents a thoughtfully designed Spanish take on the classic hamburger. Based on the principles of the Slow Food movement i.e. quality raw materials, scrupulous hygiene and fair trade; all in the service of creating a first class hamburger. All the meat used is sourced locally and its preparation is based on traditional Spanish cuisine, for the signature burger the meat is cut and diced, mixed with flour, parsley and garlic, then it’s rolled by hand dipped in egg and bread crumbs before frying. Veal, chicken and lamb burgers, all using local organic produce. Since 2012 El Filete Ruso is officially recognised as a KM 0 within Catalonia serving a range of seasonal dishes.
