#EATMYBOLLO

A colourful patisserie

By Brian Gallagher 04.02.19

Colour, humour, audacity and pastries come together at Bollo Cakery, a new ‘cakery’ situated in the Eixample neighbourhood founded by Lorena Hendlin and her team of creative bakers whose secret ingredient is chuptzpah, guaranteed to seduce and charm anyone with a sweet tooth. Located on the corner of Diputació and Aribau with a rainbow coloured neon sign outside, Bollo Cakery demands to be entered.

Bollo Cakery is divided into two separate spaces, the shop and a small tasting area at the rear with a bar and a few stools where customers can sample the products, as well as the workshop where Hendlin creates her pastries and cakes made with 99% organic and natural ingredients.
