This year we have to celebrate two Christmas holiday seasons in one, given that we didn’t have the opportunity last year. We have put together a list of the top 10 places in Barcelona to celebrate the festive meals. From uptown to downtown, the beach and the Eixample, let’s all make us for lost time…..

La Fête at CentOnze restaurant within the Le Meridien hotel is slightly different this year to previous years. The excellent choice of traditional and more contemporary festive dishes for the different menus over the holidays is as good as ever, but there is a new chef. And a totally new look for the restaurant interior. The Monk fish in tomato crust, mini roasted vegetables and pil pil with lemon grass is one of the highlights for Christmas Eve dinner. While Christmas day would not be Christmas lunch without the Traditional Catalan stew with shell shaped pasta. The Cannelloni de la Sant-Étienne à la béchamel truffée is another unmissable dish for Stephen’s Day. For New Year’s Eve there is a set menu that includes all the trimmings that includes a wine pairing and many extras. One of the standout dishes is the Lobster, grilled avocado, mango and its coral.
