Mood Fondue Experience
Till February 17th at the Mood Rooftop Terrace (The One Barcelona) an opportunity to enjoy the skies over Barcelona and the most comforting of all comfort foods, cheese, specifically Swiss cheese served fondue style. The crisp and bright days of winter are the perfect setting for this homage to all things dairy together with a selection of starters and desserts, all inspired by Northern climes.
Gruyère and Vacherin are the main protagonists of the cheese selection combined with savoury ingredients such as morel mushrooms and freshly grated melanosporum truffle. Cheese fans can choose between a number of set menus (Zürich, Genéve and Saint Moritz) that feature a choice of starters such as Endive salad with apple, walnuts and blue cheese, Vitello tonnato and Sbrinz cheese or the Cured meat and Tête de moine cheese with rye bread & walnuts.
The accompanying wines include a Hnos. Lurton, (Verdejo) Només (Garnatxa Blanca) as well as the Tres Finques (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Gran Claustro Brut Nature.
The rooftop terrace is open all year round, one of the few in the area (with terrace heaters to keep everything cozy), with views over the Eixample and the surrounding rooftops.
