2017 Summer menu
Chef Lluis Rosich presents the new summer menu at Cachitos Rambla, one of the liveliest and multi-faceted restaurants and cocktail bars in Barcelona located in the middle of one of its most elegant avenues. With an uninterrupted timetable from 8 AM through till 3 AM there is always something going on at Cachitos Rambla. The Maitre d’ at Cachitos Rambla is Alex Izquierdo who ensures that everything runs smoothly and that whatever the time of day or night the service is never anything less than first class.
Among the highlights of the new summer menu are included the Bluefin Tuna fish Montadito served with guacamole, the Tomato Tartar with parmesan cheese ice-cream, the murgulas mushrooms stuffed with foie, the eggs with butifarra (local gourmet sausage) and ali oli (garlic mayonaisse), the foie and truffle cannelloni, the pasta made with courgettes and cuttlefish with prawns, the meat stew with mushrooms, stuffed squid and the delicious t-bone steak. Not forgetting one of the dessert highlights, and perhaps one of the best desserts in Barcelona, the container of ice-cream (1 litre) with selected toppings that diners can create their own personal desserts designed to share between four.

As well as the seasonal dishes the classic tapas are also served in addition to being one of the few places in Barcelona offering a really good breakfast. Locla favourite chocolate con churros (type of doghnut dipped in thick hot chocolate), fresh croissants savoury sandwiches, pinchos, etc. … and for afternoon snacks anchovies, oysters, cockles and other shellfish together with the range of luxury montaditos crispy crust bread, with foie, t-bone steak, cured ham etc… Market fresh cuisine using premier quality seasonal ingredients. And at night Cachitos Rambla transitions from a restaurant to an informal club, with cocktails and Djs in a laid back ambience. The house speciality is the variety of sangria, 55 in total including the renowned cava and champagne (as well as non-alcoholic types).
