b-served Gastronomy
Bronzo
Inspired by Venetian taverns (bacari), it offers, in Barcelona, the flavours of northern Italy to share.
The initiative of two Catalans fascinated by the small bars hidden in the alleys of Venice, where the locals go to chat, discuss and drink local wine, accompanied by traditional dishes, has been consolidated with the opening of a second restaurant in the Born, which follows in the wake of the first one they opened in the Eixample, with the intention of transporting us, through taste, to that very special city. The name comes from the bronze moulds used to draw and give texture to the pasta.
In both, with a cosmopolitan and warm atmosphere and a terrace, you can enjoy a cuisine with roots, simple recipes made with love and selected genuine products, such as the cured meats and cheeses brought in weekly from Italy, which coexist on the menu with gastronomic emblems such as the Sarde in saor (sardines in sweet and sour pickle),
-
-
the Polpette (Venetian meatballs), or the very fine Baccalà mantecato among other spuntini (tapas),
-
fresh homemade pasta such as Bigoli in anchovy sauce, Gnocchi burro e salvia, risotto with ossobuco-saffron or red prawn, Tagliata with rocket and parmesan served with rustic potato,
-
the pizzette cooked in the stone oven -from a Margherita to Truffle-taleggio-egg yolk, Stracciatella-pistachio-mortadella or Yellow cherry tomato-pancetta arrotolata-scamorza affumicata-, a calzone of prosciutto arrosto, fontina and Portobello mushrooms,
-
and desserts such as Gorgonzola cheesecake, Tiramisù and Affogato al caffè/corretto.
-
-
And to drink, classic aperitifs such as spritz and prosecco, cocktails (Bellini, Negroni), craft beer and a multitude of wines, all Italian.
