Barcelona Beer Festival
Back again
Pairing of beer and food is now a thing. And it’s no surprise given the advances in the beer sector over recent years. From craft beer to the introduction of vintage beers back into the market the interest in all things beer related is obvious on Barcelona city streets. This weekend The Barcelona Beer Festival returns to Barcelona to be located in Hall 7 of the Fira de Barcelona - Montjuïc on May 26, 27 and 28.
This year the Barcelona Beer Festival also hosts InnBrew: The Brewers Convention aimed at professionals, bringing together two of the most important events in the Spanish beer calendar, within its vast halls. And, InnBrew is more professional than ever, bringing different professionals in the sector together and offering conferences and talks on emerging trends (InnTalks), workshops, exhibition space for 50 companies specialized in providing products and services to breweries and many networking opportunities.

Gastronomy is also part of the festival this year, proof that the sector is being taken very seriously by the big-name chefs, working hand in hand. At the Gastro Show, a total of 10 chefs (2 of whom are pastry chefs, specializing in sweets) will each offer a dish, showing the good gastronomic pulse of the city with proposals for traditional and international cuisine from renowned Barcelona restaurants: Pepa Tomato, Mama Pizza, Familia Nuri, Piel de Gallina, Chamako, Telefèric, Rooster & Bubbles, Algrano, Delacrem and La Dramerie. All these dishes are associated with a pairing suggestion with a style of craft beer.
