The famous French chef Daniel Boulud arrives in Barcelona. The Banker’s Bar within the Mandarin Oriental hotel located on Passeig de Gràcia hosts a Pop-Up restaurant Bar Boulud between November 11th and December 16th where a special menu is on offer. The space which has been specially adapted for the occasion recreates a Parisian bistrot and also includes a Food Truck where the chefs prepare the dishes and where guests can see the food been prepared in a specially built kitchen.

In charge of the day-to-day management is Thomas Pita, executive chef at Bar Boulud London who with his team will be offering some of the gastronomic dishes that have earned this renowned chef two Michelin stars. A menu of French seasonal dishes that reflects traditional French cooking, adapted to modern tastes, including the Pâté Grand Père (foie gras, pork and black truffle) or the Rillons Croustillants; the classic pissaladière, the onion, olive and anchovie pizza-pastry typical of the Provence region; and Boudin Noir croquettes, one of the oldest known sausages; the exclusive Yankee hamburgers (classic American style) and Piggie (pork barbecue), along with Gallic classics that the chef revists such as the ham and homemade hot cheese sandwich Croque Monsieur, Madame.

    The pop-up restaurant includes the collaboration of Maison Ruinart, champagne, with a selection of wines and coctails one of which is especially associated with the famous chef, the White Cosmopolitan (vodka, St-Germain Elderflower liquor, white bilberry, lime and an orchid ice sphere).
