Arcano presents its autumn menu, one that reflects the typical dishes that have become synonymous with this unique establishment celebrating its 10th year under current management. The grilled meats, tapas and other options inspired by the Mediterranean and seasonal produce are served in a restaurant that is surrounded by the original stone walls of a building that dates from the 17th Century. Just like the cuisine there is something earthy about Arcano, primordial, an ambience that is also reflected by its wine list, 40 different references chosen from small producers. Many of them local, all with a story to tell.

The interior of Arcano is like entering a film set from the Game of Thrones, or something similar. The food however is definitely 21st Century, the menu that offers Mediterranean dishes with seasonal produce. A cuisine based on oven baked dishes, and the continuous search for the best produce, experts in premium grilled meats. Like the Argentine royal steer entrecote and its Argentine angus sirloin are famous, which the diner can combine with various accompaniments to taste. And the Angus sirloin steak tartare, the Iberian pork loin with peanut butter and smoked sweet potato, or the French Rack of grilled lamb with sweet vegetables.

    Other unmissable dishes are braised baby potatoes with “Arcano” smoked brava sauce; the low-temperature free-range poached egg with braised mushrooms, creamy potatoes and black truffle; Grilled tuna loin coated in sesame, Japanese vinaigrette, sautéed sugar snap peas and pak choi; the Km0 Tomato Variety, kalamata olives, pickled shallots and vermouth pearls; the Selection of seasonal vegetables in different cooking methods with romesco sauce; or the with Duck confit and three mustard vinaigrette flavoured with flower honey and alfalfa (Arcano’s vegetables are sourced from the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat).

    The restaurant is located in the heart of Barcelona's Born district, one of the most unusual restaurants in Barcelona, thanks in part to the fact that it occupies exquisitely restored 17th-century stables, which gives it a magical atmosphere. and full of history.
