As well as a great musical programme and the creations of contemporary designers and makers, Palo Alto presents Exquisite, an initiative brimming full with the flavours, textures and colours of urban food from around the world, focusing on local produce above all. Among the ‘glocal’ offerings will be the of-the-moment French cuisine of the bistro L'Escale, the gourmet dim sum of Mr. Kao, Nikkei 103 and its culinary version, Ceviche 103 as well as the dish that gives it its name, the chicken tamales of La Turuleca, the flank roast of Two Boludos, Hawaiian poké bowls of The Hip Fish, the Valencian paella of La Cantina, the Japanese mochis of Niji ...

Eat Street, Masala '73 - al dente vegetable korma
Eat Street. After the summer break, this street food party is back with a bang with the ‘Curry Wars’ edition and a selection of the best curries in Barcelona. This journey, wrapped in spicy aromas, will take you to India, obviously, but also to Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and Persia, there will also be some avant-garde recipes and even a classic German dish. And desserts, be warned, that will leave you wanting-more. With the help of Masala'73, Hawker 45, Cal Cuc, Fogons Urbans, Paral.lelo and LaCandívora, among others. There’ll also be live jazz and a children’s play area.

Downtown Market, Food truck
Downtown Market. At this market Jim Beam the bourbon company will be presenting a Brazilian menu beside the Sambarilove foodtruck. Headed by the Rio de Janeiro chef with Catalan roots Rodrigo Guimerà, who’ll be offering four dishes where bourbon provides one of the ingredients: Chicken Coxinha with Jim Beam sauce, Carioca Burger with BBQ sauce, toasted bacon in Jim Beam and organic tomatoes, Truffled Super-bikini (ham and cheese sandwich) paired with Jim Beam Ginger and Feijoada served with Jim Julep ‘The Kentucky Mojito’. Together with the gastronomic delicacies there’ll be fashion, music and activities for all tastes and ages.
