Primavera Sound 2022

Back and bigger than ever

By Sergio Pulido 26.05.22

Despite the various conspiracy rumors of those that fill the social media with hate, misinformation and lies about COVID 19, we have to thank the vaccines for the fact that we have been able to resume our lives at pre-pandemic levels and, after the reopening of the nightclubs, the massive events that we were missing arrive: the macrofestivals.

After the mandatory suspension for health reasons that prevented the event from being held in 2020 and 2021, Primavera Sound 2022 comes back in triple size: not only now it occupies two weekends at the Parc del Fórum and the Sant Adrià del Besós grounds, but also in the days between the main festivals, another important festival has been set up in small, medium and large venues in the center of Barcelona, which they have called it Primavera a la Ciutat.

In addition to being an important logistical and organizational challenge, it will be a real test of endurance for music lovers, an artistic marathon of the highest level, which has already had the Sold Out sign hanging for several months, but from which we are going to highlight some artists that interest us in particular in successive posts.
