Poly-Rythmo Club turns 8
More afro-tropical groove, more positive music party, in La Paloma
This Saturday 12th April Poly-Rythmo Club is back, a must-attend event for fans of positive music. The party, known for bringing its high energy to the city's main venues, will be held from 10pm to 4am at La Paloma, Europe's oldest active dance hall, founded in 1903 and located in the heart of the Raval. A special night with a selection of the best artists and DJs from the afro-disco-tropical scene.
Poly-Rythmo Club is a proposal for afro-tropical music lovers and a meeting point where the rhythms of the world make you dance with disco, boogie, afro-beat, afro-house, zouk, with funky, Latin and Brazilian touches.

For this special edition, the line-up brings together some of the most respected names on the scene. GUTS (France): DJ, tastemaker and producer of the Heavenly Sweetness label known worldwide for his mix of French Caribbean music, jazz, Colombian champeta and Afro-Latin rhythms. The effect of GUTS is an immediate dance floor effect.
Norsicaa (England), DJ and music compiler who spent 8 years soaking up the world's best music through her work at Soundway Records. Her career includes performances at Boiler Room, Primavera Sound and radio shows on Worldwide FM. He has shared the stage with greats such as DJ Harvey, Erol Alkan and Colleen Cosmo. His infectious smile and his sets are charged with dance energy and take you on a journey through Latin America, Asia and beyond.
The 100% vinyl set of Frankie Francis (England), founder of Sofrito, the iconic label and the famous ‘Republic of Sofrito’ party in London. A major influence on the Afrotropical scene, Frankie has worked with renowned labels such as BBE, Strut and Analog Africa, as well as collaborating with artists such as Ebo Taylor and Dimitri from Paris.

Finally, joining this line-up will be Sonido Tupinamba, founder of Poly-Rythmo Club, music curator and DJ born in the Andes, Argentina, and resident in Barcelona, who investigates African rhythms in America and who has performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD, Primavera Sound or Estéreo Picnic and in musical temples such as Pikes (Ibiza), Gop Tun (Sao Paulo), Sunday Sunday (CDMX).
Over 8 years, Poly-Rythmo Club has established itself as a unique proposal in Barcelona, a safe and friendly space where you can enjoy different styles of dance music from around the world, turning the dance floor into a real meeting point.
