There will be five dates in all on the tour promoting the eponymous debut album from this Leeds’ quintet whose post-punk and melodic sound is causing waves back home. Besides Barcelona the band will also play Vitoria (April 9^th), Madrid (April 10^th), Villalba in Lugo (April 11^th) and San Sebastian (April 12^th). The album is being released in Spain on March 3^rd through Houston Party, but it’s already generating great expectations. Interest kicked off back in September with the first single, 'Nerve Endings' (the video was nominated for a New Musical Express Award). Then in October they played the CMJ festival in New York, where they caused a sensation. Soon afterwards news about the band was picked up by both the underground media and the mainstream like the ‘New York Times’ spreading like wildfire, together with the usual promotional material expectations are high for March / April. Eagulls provided a taster with their 7” mid- December release including tracks 'Tough Luck' and 'Opaque' as well as a video for the former.
