Brunch
In The City returns to the city
Well established as one of the most successful electronic music events in Barcelona happening on Sundays, Brunch In The City has been going on over the winter months behind glass at the Hivernacle, and this March 12th starts again at Poble Espanyol.
With a truly spectacular line up, the first show begins at 4 PM with the two outstanding performers, Thomas and Casper from the Dekmantel Soundsystem, who’re also behind one of the world’s best loved electronic music festivals, the Dekmantal in Amsterdam, as well as a record label known for its novelty productions by artists such as Robert Hood, or the Series Selectors, specialising in the re-release of disco and forgotten house gems. Their set will be a bit like that, a journey though their best vinyl collections whose taste in music is well recognised. Then after that at 6.15 PM one of the UK's most important figures in Garage music, Englishman Joy Orbison, will take centre stage finishing sometime between 8 and 10 PM with DJ and producer Mr. Eric Estornel, better known as Maceo Plex, an artist on the verge of publishing his new full length album called SOLAR with a career continuing to skyrocket after his triumphant performance in Ibiza last season.
