Moodymann Mano Le Tough Bonobo The Hacker
After its very successful debut last year at the CCCB courtyard (Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona) the Brunch Electronik is back, the spin-off version of the summer Piknic is moving to a larger venue to accommodate its dance beats this spring: the courtyard of the of Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc. In addition, there are double the number gigs now with two held weekly. The family and kids activities are well established and loved now, as well as the clothing and food stalls with home made food.
The line up for 2015 is varied and luxurious, a gourmet selection that brings us classic and current artists, ready to do their thing and get the lucky few who manage to get tickets on time up on their feet, given that last year’s gigs were all sold-out for each of the tree editions, and this year its already proving very popular.

During the April and May dates one of the highlights is the unique Moodymann (April 12th), the Detroit legend with a very personal style in house with a strong funk and disco influence, often combined with vocals or instruments played live. On April 26th there will be another variation on the house theme: Mano Le Tough, and his minimalist melodic sound. Bonobo’s gig where he’ll be dj-ing takes place on May 5th and should be up there with his output as a musician and producer. On May 24th the cycle ends with The Hacker, showing that quality electro is still very much alive and guaranteed to get the crowd in the mood.

The Brunch Electronik Barcelona will take place on 12 and 26 April // 5 and May 24 in the Plaça Major and the Theatre of El Poble Espanyol.
Tickets can be bought at the ticket desk at the festival in Poble Espanyol and online at the Resident Advisor web. Prices: advanced booking 10/13€. Desk: 15€ (13€ before 15:00h).
