Autumn Cinema Nights, the first open-air short film festival organised by the Hotel Indigo® Barcelona - Plaza Catalunya, will be showing the first works by directors J.A Bayona, Ruiz Caldera, Mar Coll and Àlex Pastor on their terrace in the centre of Barcelona. The short films will be projected within the solarium area of the Hotel Indigo Barcelona via a high-tech audio system, offering optimum sound quality and of course the typical tranquil ambience of the Eixample interior courtyards. Entrance to the festival short films are free of charge on Friday 29 and Saturday, September 30 on the hotel terrace.

Recognising the early work of some of the most talented film makers currently working in cinema Autumm Cinema Nights festival also celebrates the contribution of the Catalan School of Cinema and Audiovisuals (ESCAC). The festival focuses on the first short films that these directors produced during their years of training at the ESCAC, directors who are nowadays recognised at both national and international level; Juan Antonio Bayona (The orphanage, The impossible, A monster calls), Javier Ruiz Caldera (Spanish Movie, Promoción fantasma, Tres bodas de más, Anacleto, Agente Secreto), Mar Coll (Tres dies amb la família, Tots volem el millor per a ella), Àlex Pastor (Carriers, The Last Days, Eternal), Patricia Font (Pulseras Rojas, Cites) and Francesc Talavera (Retruc).
