Valerio Muscella
Haraket
27.10.17
Valerio Muscella (Rome, 1985) has spent almost two years in Turkey, host country of Syrian refugees, following their routes, strengthening relations with them and establishing comparisons and knowledge.
His work Haraket –which in Arabic indicates movement, understood as physical displacement and as a condition of free thinking– is part of the programme of DOCfield, the documentary photography festival, and aims to offer the public a real vision, free of compassion and falsely charitable attitude, of the lives of those who, forced to leave their countries by war or poverty, pursue a dream of justice and end up being collateral victims of the same perverted system they would like to be part of.
